Here are some pictures from the past couple of weeks. I thought Michigan's weather was crazy - We went from bike rides to sled rides in the span of 3 days.

In Ethiopia Christmas is celebrated on January 7.
It is a day set apart to celebrate the birth of Christ with family & friends,
while enjoying a great feast.
We did just that.
As we stood in a circle with dear friends, holding tight to one another & our Ethiopian babes,
we praised God for His goodness, His faithfulness and for bringing Moses & B home.
It was an incredible night of laughter, sweet fellowship
and amazing Ethiopian food.
My heart rejoices for He is good.
Our attempt at a mother & son photo :)

Christmas was filled with traditions (new and of years past)
and an incredible amount of joy.
I had to work Christmas day, so we celebrated on Christmas Eve (and the night before!)
On December 23, we watched the Polar Express while indulging in popcorn and hot chocolate.
We woke the next morning and made breakfast together.
We opened gifts and enjoyed a quiet day at home.
We ended the day surrounded by our church family at our Christmas Eve service.
It was simple.
...filled with awe & wonder
(and sweet, sweet laughter)
