happiness is...

We're heading back to Michigan in 2 days...

a much anticipated wiffleball tournement, birthday party, gathering of friends, downtown GR, grilling out, EVAN, beach, movie date with my mom & sisters, and much, much more!

we're excited-to say the least.

work called @ 5:30 AM and asked if I wanted to stay home. due to a lack of discipline and the comfort of my bed I quickly said, yes.

Camera Suggestions!

Our camera has served us well, but unfortunately the flash has officially died after a year and a half...and there are no hopes in revival.

So, we're on the lookout for a new one. Any suggestions?!

out of our element...

We've been house/dog/rabbit sitting since Sunday for our pastor and his family. We've enjoyed the luxury of a garage, yard, and hundreds more square feet of living space! We are living the high life.

Work continues to go well, but we are both eager to head back to GR at the end of this month. Jim tracks out in 1 week...and I have 9 more shifts...the countdown has begun...

Other than that, life is status quo. Our new apartment is serving us well-and we're almost completely settled. We're having technical difficulties with our camera...once fixed, I'll post a few pictures.

We played catch with a baseball tonight-crazy. I don't know how I married a baseball fanatic and in our 4 years of dating and 1 yr of married life I have escaped the pressures to play catch. I caved tonight!

i took one for the team...and the laughs were well worth it! good thing i have a pretty sweet personal coach.

Moving on....

We apologize this post is long overdue...but life has been slightly chaotic the past 2 weeks. We have successfully moved to Raleigh-a HUGE thanks to the guys from church who made it possible! I'll send an email out with our new address soon. We have been without internet since the move, but have enjoyed free wi-fi at the many coffee houses and bookstores around the city. Jim finished his 1st year of teaching on June 30 and promptly started his 2nd year on July 1st. We both enjoyed a 4 day weekend right around the 4th, which was heaven sent! We were able to get somewhat organized, paint, spend time with friends, and catch up on some much needed sleep-and not to mention the many hours of watching Wimbledon and the Olympic trials.

Sitting at Barnes and Noble we're enjoying a rainstorm as I type...ah, all is well.

Love to all.
